#ThinkLanguages Champion Team Finalists
#ThinkLanguages Champion Team Finalists
Finalists for this year’s hotly contested #ThinkLanguages Champion Team Competition have been announced!
There was an exceptionally high calibre of entries for this year’s competition with the visiting judges extremely impressed with the standard of events at all shortlisted schools as well as the effort and dedication from the Champion Teams. It was a very difficult task for the #ThinkLanguages judges however, the #ThinkLanguages team are delighted to announce that the finalists are:
-
Our Lady of Mercy, Waterford
-
Killarney Community College, Killarney
-
Our Lady’s Bower, Athlone
The Champion Teams are now invited to attend the final which will take place on Thursday 25 January at the Clock Tower Building at the Department of Education in Dublin. For the final round, each shortlisted Champion Team is required to develop and deliver a 10-minute presentation which captures what they have learned, individually and as a team, from organising their #ThinkLanguages event. This will be followed by a short Q&A from the judges.
Winners will be announced on the day, with runner-up prizes also presented to the finalists.
