QR Code Card for Guidance Counsellors
A new Languages Connect QR code card linking to information about Leaving Certificate Language Classes has been issued to Guidance Departments nationwide in recent weeks.
Guidance Counsellors are invited to share these cards with students who may be interested in studying a language outside their school’s curriculum. Each card features a QR code which students can scan to access further information and register directly for fully funded Saturday Leaving Certificate language classes.
These classes are available in a range of languages and provide students with an additional pathway to language study for the Leaving Certificate, with no cost to schools or families.
Guidance counsellors have a key role in informing students about the multitude of benefits of language-learning. Our website has a dedicated guidance section and resources developed to support guidance counsellors in their work.
