Funded Language Courses for Primary Teachers and Principals
PPLI/Languages Connect is inviting primary teachers and principals to express their interest in funded French and Spanish language courses abroad through its Erasmus+ accreditation. During the Easter break in 2027, participants will travel to Toulouse (France) or Madrid (Spain) to take part in a one-week French or Spanish course.
Participants will travel from Saturday 20 March, to Saturday 27 March 2027, with activities taking place from Sunday to Friday. The courses are designed for participants with an A2.1 level of proficiency on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Applicants’ language proficiency will be assessed to ensure the course is appropriate for their level.
Interested teachers are encouraged to complete an expression of interest form. Please note that participation is not guaranteed to all applicants and selection criteria will apply. The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday 21 November at noon.
These professional learning opportunities are administered by Post-Primary Languages Ireland/Languages Connect, in collaboration with course providers abroad, on behalf of the Department of Education and Youth. For further information on all upcoming funded mobilities, visit the dedicated Upskilling page on the Languages Connect website or email us at erasmus@ppli.ie.
