Foreign Language Upskilling Courses for Primary Teachers
We are delighted to announce that foreign language upskilling courses for Spring 2025 are now available to all registered primary teachers.
In order to expand the range of courses on offer, we are also seeking expressions of interest from additional providers.
Foreign Language Upskilling Course List 2025
Courses are currently available in French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Fully funded by the Department of Education and Youth, the courses on offer are for non-beginners, with competency entry levels ranging from A2.1 to B1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Delivery modes vary from online, blended, or in-person. Course durations range from 20 to 30 hours.

Expression of Interest for providers of Foreign Language Upskilling Courses
We are currently funding courses from various providers, and we are looking to expand the offering. If you are not yet one of our partners but are interested in providing foreign language upskilling courses in 2025/2026, please fill out this Expression of Interest Form by 5pm Friday 2nd May 2025.
