Try a New Language this Culture Night
In celebration of Culture Night and European Day of Languages, language taster classes will be held on Friday 19 September at Europe House, Balfe Street, Dublin 2 and online on Friday 26 September. Languages Connect have teamed up once again with our partners in the European Commission to offer these 20 minute classes and give you a chance to try out a wide variety of languages – which ones will you choose?
With 18 different languages to choose from, there is something for everyone. Get ready for your next holiday, or greet neighbours and colleagues in their native language!
Friday 19 September
In-person classes in Arabic, Chinese, Croatian, German, ISL, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish will take pace at Europe House on Balfe Street (11 Chatham St, Dublin, D02 VP46). Drinks and nibbles will add to the buzz and Culture Night celebrations. Walk-ins are accepted if spaces are available.
Friday 26 September
Prefer an online class? Classes in Danish, Finnish, French, Greek, Irish, Italian, Maltese and Ukrainian will be available online to celebrate European Day of Languages.
