Funding for School Libraries

School Library Home Languages Funding Scheme is now available to all primary and post-primary schools.

If you have students in your school whose home language is not English or Irish, we offer funding to your school library to purchase books and other resources in foreign languages used in your school. The school acquires the books and resources independently and the funding is provided by reimbursement upon provision of receipts . The maximum funding granted per school is €500. Students may also opt for dual language books, easy readers, magazines, comics, reference books, maps, traditional or digital games etc.

The school can apply for funding and purchase the books and other materials before 30th Nov 2019. For any queries contact Kirsi Hanifin kirsi.hanifin@ppli.ie 087-6258043.
