PPLI/Languages Connect teamed up once again with our partners in the European Commission to offer 20-minute language taster classes in 18 languages across two separate evenings!

In celebration of Culture Night, language taster classes in ten different languages were held at Europe House in Dublin on Friday 19 September. Attendees thoroughly enjoyed the classes, with some saying the classes were fun and interactive and others describing how engaging the teachers were.

Taster classes in a further eight languages were offered online on Friday 26 September to celebrate European Day of Languages. There was excellent feedback from participants of both events, who mentioned being inspired to learn another language, and read books, watch films, and talk to colleagues and friends though another language.
