Try a New Language this Culture Night
In celebration of Culture Night and the European Day of Languages, language taster classes will be held on 22nd September at Europe House and online on Tuesday 26th September. Languages Connect have teamed up once again with our partners in the European Commission to offer these 20 minute classes and give you a chance to try out a wide variety of languages – which ones will you choose?
With 18 different languages to choose from, there is something for everyone. Get ready for your next holiday, or greet neighbours and colleagues in their native language!
On Friday September 22nd in-person classes will be at Europe House on Lower Mount Street, Dublin. Drinks and nibbles will add to the buzz and Culture Night celebrations.
In person classes which are taking place at Europe House are:
· Korean, Maltese, Ukrainian, Swedish, Slovenian sessions at 5pm, 5.30pm, 6pm and 6.30pm concurrently
· Japanese, Irish Sign Language (ISL), Chinese, German, Italian sessions at 7pm, 7.30pm, 8pm and 8.30pm concurrently.
Prefer an online class? A great selection will be available to celebrate European Day of Languages on Tuesday 26th September.
Online classes available are:
· Hungarian, Greek, Spanish, Slovak sessions at 5pm, 5.30pm, 6pm and 6.30pm concurrently
· Irish, French, Polish, Portuguese at 7pm, 7.30pm, 8pm and 8.30pm concurrently.
