Try a New Language this Culture Night
In celebration of Culture Night and the European Day of Languages, language taster classes will be held on Friday 20 September at Europe House and online on Thursday 26 September. Languages Connect have teamed up once again with our partners in the European Commission to offer these 20 minute classes and give you a chance to try out a wide variety of languages – which ones will you choose?
With 21 different languages to choose from, there is something for everyone. Get ready for your next holiday, or greet neighbours and colleagues in their native language! To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the 2004 enlargement of the European Union, the languages of all ten countries that joined in that year will be available.
Friday 20 September
In-person classes in Chinese, Czech, German, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish and Spanish will take pace at Europe House on Lower Mount Street, Dublin. Drinks and nibbles will add to the buzz and Culture Night celebrations. Walk-ins are accepted if spaces are available.
Thursday 26 September
Prefer an online class? Classes in Arabic, Estonian, French, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Irish, Portuguese, Slovak, Slovenian and Ukrainian will be available online to celebrate European Day of Languages.
