Languages Connect are sending out Toolkit packs to MFL Departments in all post primary schools nationwide to help promote languages at Open Days and Open Nights for incoming first year students. These packs are designed to help encourage students to ‘Say Yes to Languages” when choosing subjects for Junior Cycle.

The toolkits contain tips for hosting open day/nights in your school for students and parents, ideas for games and activities and also language specific activities for the four main curricular languages taken at Junior Cert – French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Two Toolkit packs will be arriving in all post-primary schools in the coming weeks – so make sure to keep an eye out! There are a selection of promotional items in the pack that can be ordered to help bring colour and variety to your open day.
