Mandarin Chinese Upskilling Course
Mandarin Chinese Upskilling Course
In the context of the Department of Education pilot for the language upskilling of primary school teachers, a new Mandarin Chinese language course is now available to registered primary school teachers.
The course is funded by the Department of Education and supported by Post-Primary Languages Ireland. A previous knowledge of the language is required with applicants needing a level of CEFR A1 and some knowledge of the written scripts (Hanzi).
The course will be a blended model of primarily online classes, with some face-to-face sessions depending on the location of interested teachers. Classes will take place twice a week and will be an hour each, totalling 20 hours between the end of February and May 2024.
There is no fee to partake in this course.
