Japan Quiz Night 2020 was a roaring success, with 130 students participating in Dublin City University (DCU), Coláiste Daibhéid Cork, Gorey Community School Wexford and Coláiste Mhuire Limerick.
Students answered questions on all aspects of Japan, including food, geography, sports and culture. Not only that, they got a real taste for the country with Japanese snacks, sweets or sushi dished up in all four locations.
The triumphant Presentation Brothers College Cork finished in first place on the night.
The event, held on 23 January, was the third annual Japan Quiz Night. In partnership with DCU and the Japan Foundation, it promotes learning Japanese in secondary schools throughout the country.
